Ingredients:
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup of butter, softened
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of chocolate frosting
- 1 package of pink candy melts
- 1/4 cup of white fondant
- Edible pink food coloring
- Edible gold dust
- Wooden sticks
Instructions:
Bake the chocolate cake according to the package instructions and let it cool completely
Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl
In a separate bowl, mix the softened butter, milk, and eggs
Add this mixture to the cake crumbs and mix until well combined
Add chocolate frosting to the mixture and continue mixing until it forms a dough-like consistency
Roll the mixture into small cake balls and place them on a lined baking sheet
Melt the pink candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to the package instructions
Dip the tip of each wooden stick into the melted candy melts and insert it into each cake ball
Let it set for a few minutes
Dip each cake pop into the melted pink candy melts, ensuring they are fully coated
Allow any excess to drip off
Roll out the white fondant and cut out tiny cowgirl hat shapes using a small fondant cutter
Color the fondant shapes with edible pink food coloring and dust with edible gold dust for added flair
Place a fondant cowgirl hat on top of each cake pop while the candy coating is still wet
Allow the cake pops to set completely before serving
You can refrigerate them to speed up the process
