Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and grease a 9-inch round cake pan
Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a large bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy
Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix them in well
Mix the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt together in a different bowl
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until they are just combined
Be careful not to mix the rainbow sprinkles in too much
Press the cookie dough into the cake pan so that its spread out evenly
After the oven is hot, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown
It will keep setting as it cools, so the middle should still be a little soft
Let the cookie cake cool all the way down on a wire rack inside the pan
Before taking the cookie cake out of the pan, make sure it is cool
If you want, you can decorate the top with more rainbow sprinkles
